Architecture was, since very early, the great passion of Inês Brandão. She graduated at Lusíada University (Lisbon) in 2006 and attended for one year the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, Switzerland, at Atelier Zumthor.Over the past few years she has developed the interest for the detail, promoted by the attention to the world around her. Currently she divides her time between the
InesBrandao_arquitectura is located in Lisbon and was created in 2005, when Ines was finishing her studies.
The conceptual quality, technical rigor and customer orientation are the main principles of this office.
The office has been covering different project scales - housing, tourism, services, furniture.
Recently they won an Honorable Mention in the National Prize for Architecture in Wood (Portugal), for their project “Barn House”, in Leiria-Portugal.
